Islamic University of Maldives

The Open Educational Repository of (OERIUM) of the Islamic University of Maldives hosts the Educational Resources created by the IUM. The project is supported by the Commonwealth of Learning.

Here, OERIUM is pronounced as 'eerium' where OE is a diphthong as in Oedipus. The Objectives of OERIUM are:

  • To honour the commitment of IUM towards sharing its educational resources to the rest of the world
  • To encourage adoption of OER policies by the other Univerisity of Maldives
